The majority of websites dedicated to Guild Wars 2 is aimed at endgame players with endgame goals, and the guides and builds on there tend to be written by speedrunners or competitive players for their peers. And while some players who look up guides or builds online want to be optimizing their gameplay, Guild Wars 2 fosters a community much larger than that of endgamers, speedrunners, and elitists. We, at UCT, while giving due deference to the authorities on elite raiders (Snowcrows and Lucky Noobs), fractal-runners (Discretize), and WvWers (GW2Mists), acknowledge the other category of GW2 player: the beginner or casual.
